The Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) is
the umbrella organization for the fastest-growing industry in the Philippines: information technology-business
process outsourcing (IT-BPO), and global in-house center (GIC) industry. BPAP serves as the one-stop information
and advocacy gateway for the BPO industry and has over 240 company members, including five associations.
BPAP undertakes research to support industry growth and regularly conducts
CEO-level briefings; works closely with government to ensure a BPO-friendly investment and operating environment,
and works with the educational sector to produce a reliable supply of knowledge workers. BPAP’s thrust is to
promote the competitive advantages and the growth potential of the Philippines in existing and new areas of IT-BPO
and shared services industry, and supports the industry in areas such as offshore marketing, education and training,
security and privacy, legislation and public policy, among others.
