Earl Martin Valencia is the president and co-founder of the IdeaSpace Foundation, First Pacific Group's ?500-M multi-industry incubator and accelerator for technology start-ups. Concurrently, he is the head of Corporate Development at Smart. Previously, he was the business incubation manager at Cisco’s Emerging Technologies Group at its headquarters. He was a senior systems engineer at Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems where he worked in classified R&D Projects for the United States Defense Department. He obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude, from Boston University, a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from Cornell University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In 2007, at age 24, he was named the youngest “New Face of Engineering,” which highlights the 15 most promising engineers under 30 across the US.
