Since joining Proexport Colombia in April 2008, Augusto Castellanos served as market intelligence analyst, foreign investment advisor and intelligence unit director. Under his leadership, the unit developed a new methodology to segment potential investors. His professional career includes experience in the Senate of Colombia as the economist advisor of former Senator Gina Parody and in international trade consultancy as economic adviser. He obtained a Master in Economy and bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Universidad de los Andes.
