Oscar Sañez is the head of San Miguel Purefoods Company’s international operations and export business. He leads the company’s efforts to expand its presence overseas particularly in the ASEAN region. Prior to this role, he was the CEO of the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) for four years. Under his leadership, Philippine IT-BPO had grown to a US$9-billion export revenue industry with over half a million Filipino workers, claiming the top spot in the global contact center sector. He returned to the Philippines in January 2006 after completing a 29-year career in The Procter & Gamble Co. His last posting was in Sydney where he held the position of country general manager and managing director of Procter & Gamble Australia & New Zealand.
